Affiliate Program Terms

These terms govern the Broidry Affiliate Program. You agree to them when you apply. They are separate from, and in addition to, the Terms of Service.

Joining the program

Membership is by application. A person reviews every application, and Broidry may approve or decline any application at its discretion. Your referral link does not work until your application is approved.
You must have a Broidry account in good standing to be an affiliate.

You earn 25% of the subscription payments Broidry receives from each shop that signs up through your link, for that shop's first 12 paid months. After the 12th paid month, the referral stops earning.
Commission applies to subscription payments only. It does not apply to payment-processing fees, per-order fees, or anything a referred shop's own customers pay them.
If a referred shop receives a refund, the commission on the refunded payment is reversed.

When someone clicks your link, Broidry records it for 30 days. If they create a shop within those 30 days, the referral is yours.
One referral per shop, and the first affiliate link a person clicks wins — a later click on someone else's link does not take the referral over.
Referring yourself, your own shops, or accounts you control does not qualify and will be removed.

Payouts begin when Broidry's paid billing goes live. Every referral made before that date is tracked and counts once billing starts — you never lose credit for referring early.
Earnings are paid monthly, once your balance reaches $25. Balances under $25 roll forward to the next month.
You are responsible for your own taxes on affiliate earnings. For United States affiliates, Broidry will request a Form W-9 before paying out and will issue a Form 1099 where the law requires it.

No misleading claims about Broidry — describe the product accurately, including that it is software for running your own shop, not a marketplace that brings you buyers.
No spam. Share your link where you genuinely participate; do not mass-message strangers, post it in places that prohibit promotion, or buy search ads on the word "Broidry" or misspellings of it.
No posting your link on coupon or deal-aggregator sites.
If you promote Broidry to an audience, disclose that you earn a commission, as the FTC requires.

You can leave the program at any time by contacting us. Earned, unpaid balances over $25 are still paid out.
Broidry may remove an affiliate who breaks these rules; earnings from rule-breaking referrals are forfeited.
Broidry may change these terms or close the program with 30 days' written notice. Commissions already earned are not taken away by a change.
