Works with what you already use
The question we hear most is some version of “does it work with Shopify?” The answer is yes — and the same goes for Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, and Etsy — because Broidry isn't trying to replace the store you already have. It's the order side of a custom shop, and it runs beside the store that's already selling.
The split of labor
You don't rebuild your website, close your Etsy shop, or change how buyers pay you. Broidry runs beside the store you already have.
Download the file your selling platform gives you and upload it. Broidry already knows the format for seven of them, and asks a couple of questions for anything else.
Etsy, your website, Facebook, texts, email, and craft fairs all end at the same board — each order with a price, a status, and a due date.
The one that runs itself
Nothing changes at your checkout
Keep the site you built
Copy, paste, done
Your history, minus the junk
Where links do the work
However you already get paid
Set how each product is made and sell all of it from the same shop page, onto the same board. Shops that embroider and print run both sides here today.
Not here yet: gang sheets and the rest of the print-shop production tools. Broidry runs the orders, not the press.
Your stitch files, thread colors by number, fonts, and hoops all live here, and you can price by stitch count.
DTF, sublimation, and vinyl sell right alongside your embroidery, priced flat or at whatever number you set.
Tumblers, boards, signs — engraved work sells from the same shop page and lands on the same board.
Anything you make to order. If a customer has to tell you what they want and approve it first, it fits.
Being built now
Your orders from those platforms will sync into Broidry on their own, the way Etsy sales already do, with Shopify next. Shops already on Broidry get each connection first.
None of this assumes you're technical. If a step here sounds like more than you want to take on, that's what the help is for.
Every setup on this page has a written guide showing the actual screens — where the button is, what to click, what you should see.
Ask Broidry sits in your dashboard and answers in plain words, including questions about your own shop. No waiting, no ticket number.
Anything the chat can't answer goes straight to the people who build Broidry, and you get an email back. You can send a screenshot too.
Yes, alongside it. Your Shopify store keeps selling and nothing changes at your checkout. Broidry handles the custom-order side: download the order, product, and customer files Shopify gives you and upload them, and paste one line of code onto a page of your site to put your Broidry order form right there, so buyers ask for custom work without leaving your store. A direct connection that brings orders over automatically is being built.
Yes, the same way. Your Squarespace site stays your site. Upload the product file Squarespace gives you and your items come across, and one line of code in a Squarespace code block puts your order form on your own page. A direct connection is being built for Squarespace too.
You don't need WooCommerce — any WordPress page where you can add a block of code can hold your Broidry order form. If you do run WooCommerce, export your orders and upload the file: Broidry asks which column holds the customer, the item, the price, and the date, then shows you exactly what it's about to add.
It's more copying and pasting than anything else, and you're not left to figure it out. Every setup mentioned here has a written guide with pictures of the actual screens, so you can see where the buttons are before you touch anything. The Ask Broidry chat inside your dashboard answers questions in plain words the moment you have them, including questions about your own shop. When it can't answer something, it passes your question to the people who build Broidry and you get an email back from a real person — and you can send a screenshot of what you're looking at, which usually saves a whole round of back-and-forth. If you'd rather not set up the website part at all, you don't have to: your Broidry shop page works as a link you can share anywhere.
No. Plenty of shops keep the website they have and use Broidry for orders, approvals, and production behind it. Shops that don't have a website use their Broidry shop page as one, with their own domain if they want. Both are normal ways to run it.
A five-minute, one-time setup connects your Etsy shop. From then on, new sales appear on your board on their own with the buyer, the items, the personalization, and the ship-by date, and shipping with tracking closes the order. Broidry never messages your Etsy buyers — Etsy owns that conversation.
No. Broidry's percentage — 2% on the Free plan, 1.5% on the paid plans — only applies to card payments you take through Broidry. A sale paid on Etsy, on your own store, or by Venmo, cash, or check has no Broidry percentage on it at all. The Free plan does have an order limit: 15 new orders a month, and old orders you bring over don't count toward it. That limit goes away once you take card payments through Broidry, and every paid plan is unlimited either way.
Embroidery is where Broidry goes deepest — stitch files, thread colors by number, fonts, hoops, and pricing by stitch count. But you can set how each product is made: embroidered, printed (DTF, sublimation, or vinyl), engraved, or other custom work. Printed and engraved items price flat or at whatever number you set, and they sell from the same shop page and land on the same board as your embroidery. Shops that do both run both sides here today. What isn't here yet is gang sheets and the rest of the print-shop production tools — Broidry runs the orders, not the press.
Yes. Download the file from wherever your history lives now and upload it. Broidry already knows the files Shopify, Etsy, Squarespace, Wix, Big Cartel, Square, and PayPal hand you, so there's nothing to match up by hand. For anything else it asks a couple of questions about which column is which, and shows you what it's about to add before it adds it. Past orders come in as history, so your customer list and reorder reminders start with something to work from.
Your website and your Etsy shop keep doing what they do. Broidry picks up everything around the sale. The Free plan is $0 a month, there's no credit card to start, and there's no contract.
