Printavo alternative
Printavo is a good product built for print shops with staff. Its cheapest plan is $109 a month, includes two user seats as a minimum, and caps you at 20 quotes or invoices a month. For one person with one machine, that's the wrong shape and the wrong price. Broidry is built for the shop Printavo wasn't built for: one person, machine embroidery, orders coming in from Facebook, Etsy, and text messages.
Printavo Lite is $109 a month. There's no free plan, and Printavo doesn't publish annual pricing. Broidry's Free plan is $0 a month with the core features included, and the first paid plan is $19.
Printavo Lite includes two user seats as its minimum, and additional users are $19 a month each. Broidry's Free and Maker plans are built for one person. A second seat comes with the Shop plan at $39 a month.
That cap is per month, across quotes and invoices together. The plan without the cap is Standard, at $244 a month. On Broidry, orders are unlimited when the payment runs through Broidry, and the Free plan allows 15 orders a month that were paid outside it.
Every Printavo figure below comes from their own pricing page. Where they publish nothing, the row says so. Feature comparisons are kept out of this table on purpose: what Printavo does inside the product is theirs to describe.

Competitor pricing checked July 2026 from each vendor's own pricing page. Software pricing moves, so check theirs before you decide.
Some shops should pay the $109. Here's how to tell whether yours is one of them.
One person, machine embroidery, personalized work, orders arriving through whatever channel the customer happened to use. That's the whole audience, and it's why the software is shaped the way it is.
Broidry stores your stitch files, your thread colors by number, and your fonts in one searchable library, and it records which of them went onto each finished order. So when she asks for the same sweatshirt as last year, you open the old order and read the thread numbers off it. That's the part a general shop-management product has no reason to build.
Etsy, Facebook, text messages, email, and your own shop page land on one list with a price, a status, and a due date. Order CSV files from seven selling platforms import directly.
Broidry draws a preview on your real garment in your real threads. The customer confirms the spelling and approves it, and the approval is stored on the order.
Every paid order carries an estimated stitching time, and the piece due soonest sits on top. Orders that look like they'll miss their date at your current pace get flagged.
An order reaches the stitching queue when it's paid on the terms you set, in full or with a deposit. Card payments through Broidry mark themselves paid, and Venmo, cash, and check payments are recorded on the order.
If you're shopping this category you'll meet these four. Prices were read from each vendor's own pricing page in July 2026.
Standard is $239 a month, Premium $339, and Enterprise $439, with extra staff users at $10 a month each. DecoNetwork also charges a one-time license fee on top of the monthly price on every plan, and the amount isn't published on their pricing page. There's no trial. They publish a 14-day grace period and no refunds. Built for small print shops through multi-location operations.
The one genuinely free product in this set: a free plan with 20 orders a month and a single user. Paid plans are sold by seat count, starting at $77 a month for one user and running to $718 a month for thirty. Built for screen printing shops. If free is the requirement and 20 orders a month covers you, it belongs on your list.
Craftybase has renamed itself Stocksmith. Same team, same software. Plans are Studio $49, Indie $99, Business $199, and Growth $349 a month, with unlimited users on the paid tiers and a 14-day trial with no card. It's worth knowing that it solves a different problem: it's an inventory and cost-of-goods tool for makers working from raw materials, not an order-management tool. Several shops run one of each.
ShopWorks doesn't publish pricing, seat counts, or trial terms anywhere on their site, so there's nothing here we can state. They describe OnSite as fitting shops doing $100,000 to $50 million a year, which is the clearest statement of scale in the category.
Printavo Lite is $109 a month and includes two user seats and 20 quotes or invoices a month combined. Standard is $244 a month with five seats and no quote or invoice cap. Premium is quoted by their sales team and the price isn't published. Additional users are $19 a month each, and the Merch add-on for an online store is another $109 a month. Printavo doesn't publish annual pricing. These figures were read from printavo.com/pricing in July 2026.
Broidry's Free plan is $0 a month and includes the core features, with a 2% fee on payments taken through Broidry and 15 orders a month that were paid outside it. Teesom also has a genuinely free plan, limited to 20 orders a month and one user, built for screen printing shops. Among the paid products, Stocksmith starts at $49 a month, Printavo at $109, and DecoNetwork at $239 plus a one-time license fee whose amount isn't published.
Printavo is a print shop product and it's a well-regarded one. Shops that run both printing and embroidery use it, and shops with staff get real value from the seats and the quoting. What it isn't is a machine embroidery tool. The things that matter most in a personalized embroidery business are the stitch file library, the thread colors by number, the fonts, and the customer confirming the spelling before the needle moves. That's embroidery-specific work, and it's where Broidry is built and Printavo isn't.
Switch if you're one person or two, your work is machine embroidery, and $109 a month plus the 20 quote-or-invoice cap is more product than your shop needs. Don't switch if you have employees working in the system, if screen printing is a real part of your business, or if you need more than two people in the software at once. Broidry doesn't try to be a shop-floor system for a staffed business.
The Free plan is $0 a month with the core features, a 2% fee on payments taken through Broidry, and 15 orders a month that were paid outside Broidry. Maker is $19 a month and drops the fee to 1.5%, removes Broidry's branding from your storefront and mockups, and lifts the order cap. Shop is $39 a month and adds a second team seat, a custom domain, and the marketing tools. Atelier is $79 a month for shops running more than one machine. There's no contract and no cancellation fee.
Export your orders as a CSV file and upload it. Broidry recognizes the official exports from seven selling platforms on its own, and for any other CSV it asks you which column holds the customer, the item, the price, and the date, then shows you exactly what will land before anything is added. Past orders come in as history, so your customer list isn't starting from nothing.
Broidry is order-management software for machine embroidery shops. Your designs, threads, and fonts live in one searchable library. Orders from Etsy, Facebook, text, and email land on one list with a price and a due date, and the customer approves the piece before you stitch it. The Free plan is $0 a month, there's no credit card to start, and there's no contract.
