Is there a Broidry app? Broidry on your phone

There is no Broidry app in the App Store or on Google Play. Broidry is a website, and all of it works in the browser already on your phone: Safari on an iPhone, Chrome on an Android phone. Go to broidry.com, press Sign in, and you are on the same dashboard you use on a computer, laid out for a small screen.

On a phone the dashboard becomes four tabs across the bottom, Today, Orders, Inbox, and Production, with a + button in the middle for starting an order from a pasted message or a screenshot. Everything else, Supplies, Mockups, Pricing, and the rest, is one press away under More.

Put it on your home screen

Adding Broidry to your home screen gives it an icon next to your other apps, opens it full screen without the browser bar, and keeps you signed in.

1. 1On an iPhone: open broidry.com in Safari, press the Share button, choose "Add to Home Screen", and press Add.
2. 2On an Android phone: open broidry.com in Chrome, press the three dots in the corner, and choose "Add to Home screen". Some phones call it "Install app".

Notifications on your phone

Broidry can tell your phone when a new order comes in, when a customer sends a message, when a payment arrives, and when a customer approves a proof, and your morning brief arrives the same way. Open the bell at the top of your dashboard and press "🔔 Notify me on this device (even with the tab closed)".

On an iPhone, Apple only allows notifications once Broidry is on your home screen. Add it first, open it from that new icon, then turn notifications on from the bell.

At the machine

Machine mode is a view made for a phone propped next to the machine: the next piece up, big Start and Done buttons, and a screen that stays awake. Open it from the Production page.

The square code at the bottom of a printed work sheet opens that one order when you point your phone's camera at it. No app is needed for that either; the camera already on the phone reads it.
