Your blanks, and how many you have on hand

3 minute read

Your blanks live on the Supplies page, under Your blanks. A blank is one garment you stitch on, like a Gildan 18000 crewneck or a Richardson 112 cap. Its cost goes into your quotes, and its colors and sizes are what your customers pick from.

To add one, click Browse common next to a group and click Add on the garment you use, or click + Add blank and type the brand and style number yourself. Click a blank in the list to open it.

Each garment is in your list once. If you add a brand and style number you already have, Broidry keeps the one you have and says so above your list, even if you typed a different style name.

Count how many you have

If you keep blanks on a shelf, open the blank and turn on Count how many I have on hand. Once the blank has its colors, a grid shows every color and size, with a + and a - button beside each count.

When an order moves to Making, its garments come off the count, and the blank shows on your shopping list when it runs low. Leave counting off if you buy blanks for each order.

Find a count from the search box

Type a color and a size into Search everything at the top of any dashboard page, like deep royal s. The first results are Stock lines, one for each blank that comes in that color, and each says how many you have in that size. Click a Stock line to open that blank at its counts.

The same garment in your list twice

If the same brand and style number is in your list more than once, a card at the top of Your blanks says so. Pick the copy you want to keep and click Merge into one blank.

The copies become one blank. Their colors and sizes join, and their stock counts for each color and size add together. Every order and product that used a copy now uses the one you kept. The copy you keep sets the cost and the item type.
