Add many orders at once

A post takes off and two hundred people want the same personalized piece. The orders are in comments, messages, and a list you have been keeping. Typing each one into Broidry separately would take a day. Paste them instead.

1. 1Make sure the product is one of your listings on the Products page. Every pasted order is an order for that listing, so its photo, colors, sizes, and price come along.
2. 2Open Quick add and click "Add many orders".
3. 3Click the listing the orders are for.
4. 4Paste one line per order. Copying rows straight out of a spreadsheet works, and so does typing them with commas. The columns are Name, Contact, Wording, Color, Size, Quantity, Paid, Address, Notes, in that order. Only Name is required. If your first line is a header with those names, your columns can be in any order.
5. 5Click "Check my rows". Broidry shows every line as the order it would become. A line with no customer name is marked and left out. A color or size that is not on the listing is kept exactly as you typed it and marked so you can see it.
6. 6Click the button that says how many orders it will add, for example "Add 214 orders". Every line shows up on your Orders page as an open order. No email goes to any customer.

Orders people already paid for

In the Paid column, type how each person paid: Venmo, cash, PayPal. Leave it empty for anyone who has not paid yet.

When the listing has its own set price, Broidry puts that price on each order and records the payment for the paid ones. Those orders go straight to Paid, which puts them on your run sheet and your shopping list.

When the listing has no set price, the orders are added with no price and the Paid column is not recorded, because Broidry does not know what each order cost. Open each order and use Build quote to price it.

On the Free plan

The Free plan works 15 orders a month. When your rows would go past that, the page tells you how many would be locked before you add them. The limit does not apply in any month where at least one customer pays you by card through Broidry, and a paid plan has no limit.
