Square sales land on your board automatically

If you sell through Square — at markets, in person with the reader, or on your Square online store — Broidry can bring those sales in for you. Connect once, and every paid Square sale shows up on your board as a paid order, with the items, the buyer's name, and the amount already filled in.

There is nothing to forward and nothing to remember. Broidry checks Square regularly on its own, and you can press a button to check right away.

Set it up

1. 1In Broidry, open the Import page — use the import link on your Today page or go straight to your dashboard's address with /import on the end.
2. 2Press "Connect Square." You land on Square's own sign-in page, where you sign in to your Square account and allow the connection. Broidry never sees your Square password — Square just hands back permission to read your orders.
3. 3That's it. You come right back to Broidry, and your recent Square sales start appearing on your board.

Good to know

Orders arrive marked paid, because the buyer already paid on Square. The amount is recorded as a Square payment, so your money numbers stay truthful.

Your buyers do not get extra emails. Square already sent them a receipt when they paid, so Broidry stays quiet — no second receipt, no duplicate order updates. But unlike Etsy, Square shares the buyer's email address with you, so if you want to message a buyer about their order, you can do it right from the order's conversation.

When Square marks an order shipped or picked up, the matching order here closes itself, with the tracking number copied on. And if an order is cancelled on Square, Broidry tells you instead of quietly changing anything.

Older sales that were already finished before you connected are treated as history, not as new work — so connecting does not flood your board. To bring your full past history in, use the file upload on the same Import page.
